48" Yellow Guard Rail Safety Gate
RP-AGSLG-048 is a trusted yellow safety gate for our Armor Guard lineup of medium-duty guard rail safety products. Manufactured to the same standards as our Armor Guard railing, the safety gates can be ordered as part of a new installation or retrofitted into an existing system.
- High-quality self-closing hardware with heavy, 11-gauge corrugated steel rails designed to fit a 48" post-to-post center line within a protective railing system.
- The gate is shipped with hinge assembly on one side of the gate and two gate stops on the opposite side.
- All hardware and end caps are included; the gates will bolt to the existing posts of a Armor Guard protective railing system.
- Gates is easily installed without cutting, welding or drilling.
- Swing direction is versatile, which allows you to re-purpose gates as required. Changing the direction of the gate is as simple as removing a few bolts and flipping the gate in the direction needed. Steel spring automatically closes gate after passage is complete.
- Gates are shipped completely assembled and ready for installation; powder coated yellow for lasting durability and UV protection

- Choose the height of your system. Steel Guard is available in either single (18" high posts) or double high (43" high posts).
- Choose your necessary post type. Standard corner posts are available. Center posts are available in four options: standard, standard offset, end offset, and side offset.
- Choose your rail lengths. Note that rails are measured from post-to-post, on center; the actual rail component will be 4″ shorter than the specified length on Steel Guard. Lift-out pockets increase the center-to-center dimension by 1″.
- Choose bolted or lift-out rail. The lift-out rail provides equipment protection while still enabling easy access when needed.
- Are gates needed? Steel Guard gate includes all hardware and end caps for easy installation without cutting, welding, or drilling. It can be flipped for in-swing or out-swing orientation.
